There is one person who is not good at chopsticks cooking. Is there a set meal other than chopsticks?
There is a "Beef nabe bowl". It is a hot pot dish of beef and chopped burdock omelette with egg. It is a small pot dish for one person, with rice and soup.
When is the regular holiday in January !?
happy New Year. Thank you again this year. I am very sorry for the late reply. We will be open from January 2nd to 10th. Therefore, we will have our New Year holidays from 22nd (Mon) to 25th (Thursday). In addition, every Thursday is a regular holiday (11th, 18th). We look forward to your visit.

Great steam eel experience. Worth to try it it's your first time here or around Yanagawa. But not to the point just traveling all the here just for steam eel.

Dropped by this place in middle of winter. This place offers very good ambience if you want to feel the old town feel of Yanagawa. Menu offered is less than 5 items but taste wise is very good. Steamed Unagi rice was delicious, and the beef stew cooked in claypot was very comforting for a very cold afternoon. The clear soup is wonderful with hint of lemon and parsley. Free coffee is available from 12noon to 230pm. Expect to pay about 5000 for 2 mains and a mug of beer.

The steamed eel rice set tastes so nice. The eel is soft and the rice is magnificent. The ambience is relaxing. Staff are nice. The grill eel tastes good also. Not over-grilled and match with the sauce. But I highly recommend the steamed eel more. Special!

250 year old store. Perfect traditional steamed eel rice. Has a smaller portion for ladies or kids. You could order beef or fish （loach） pot Iif you don't eat eel. Nice environment.
